Are all Queensland state government grant programs intended to help the community?
Even if an Queensland government grant is intended for non commercial purposes within the community, it is sometimes possible for a small business to be eligible for the grant and apply. For example, if an Queensland community needs a park landscaped, a small business could possibly apply for any grant earmarked for the project as a way to fund their involvement. Not every community grant programs in Queensland or elsewhere will allow for this sort of crossover, however. So, consider the terms of eligibility before applying.
